Refund policy

1. TICKET USAGE

1.1. Any ticket you purchase is intended for your personal use or for use within your organization only. Reselling tickets is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to using them as part of any promotion or competition. If we detect that a ticket has been resold or there has been an attempt to resell (or any other violation of this clause), we reserve the right to immediately invalidate the ticket(s) in question.

1.2. We also reserve the right to cancel any ticket purchase if we reasonably believe the buyer is associated with a ticket broker.

1.3. Each ticket must be assigned to a specific attendee, and their details must be 100% complete at least seven (7) days before the event. Tickets cannot be reassigned after this deadline. For any ticket reassignment requests prior to that deadline, please contact info@buildstuff.events.

3. CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS OF THE ON-SITE EVENT BY THE ORGANIZER

3.1. The Company may, for valid reasons and with notice, change, cancel, or postpone the on-site conference, alter its venue, or revise other published details. We may also withdraw an invitation to attend if necessary. We will make every effort to inform you of any changes, postponements, or cancellations as soon as possible, primarily by updating the information on our website.

3.2. While we work to ensure the accuracy of the on-site event schedule, speakers, topics, format, and dates at the time of publication, factors outside our control may require substitutions, changes, postponements, or cancellations to elements such as content, format, themes, name, speakers, hosts, moderators, venue, timing, platform, or event dates. We reserve the right to make these modifications at any time and will not be responsible for any costs you may incur as a result.

3.3. In the event of substitutions or modifications, we will strive to provide updated information on our website as promptly as possible.

3.1 IF THE ON-SITE EVENT IS CANCELED

If the on-site conference is canceled, holders of on-site tickets will have the following options:

  • 3.1.1 Exchange your single on-site ticket for one (1) Online ticket.
  • 3.1.2 Exchange your single on-site ticket for two (2) VIP Online tickets.
  • 3.1.3 Exchange your single on-site ticket for one (1) VIP Online ticket and receive a Build Stuff gift voucher for the price difference (based on the difference in cost between the VIP Online ticket at the time of refund and your original on-site ticket).
  • 3.1.4 Receive a 130% Build Stuff Gift Voucher for the value of your canceled ticket purchase price, including an extra 30% bonus.
  • 3.1.5 Obtain a full 100% refund of the ticket price. This refund will be processed within 60 days via the original payment method (bank transfer or card). Please note that, in this case, the extra 30% bonus will not apply.

4. CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS OF THE ONLINE EVENT BY THE ORGANIZER

4.1. We endeavor to ensure that the online event schedule, speakers, topics, platform, format, and dates are accurate when published. However, circumstances beyond our control may require substitutions, changes, postponements, or cancellations to the content, format, themes, name, speakers, hosts, moderators, venue, timing, platform, or event dates. We reserve the right to implement such modifications at any time and are not liable for any costs you may incur as a result.

4.2. If there are any substitutions, postponements, or changes, we will make every effort to update the website as soon as is reasonably feasible.

4.1 IF THE ONLINE EVENT IS POSTPONED

Should the online event be postponed, you will retain access to the rescheduled event on the new date. No refunds will be offered in the event of a postponement.

4.2 IF THE ONLINE EVENT IS CANCELED

If the online event is canceled, you may choose from the following options:

  • 4.2.1 Receive a 130% Build Stuff Gift Voucher for the value of your canceled ticket, which includes a 30% bonus.
  • 4.2.2 Obtain a full 100% refund of the ticket price, processed within 60 days via the original payment method (bank transfer or card). In this scenario, the additional 30% bonus does not apply.

5. FORCE MAJEURE

The Company will not be held liable for any delay or failure to fulfill its obligations to the extent that such delay or failure is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood, strikes, civil or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, unavailability of the venue, or other similar events. In such situations, the Company may postpone, reschedule, or cancel the conference without incurring any liability.

If the event cannot be held or is postponed due to force majeure, the Company is not responsible for any resulting damages, costs, or losses, including transportation, accommodation, or financial losses.

6. CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS OF ON-SITE OR ONLINE ATTENDANCE BY THE ATTENDEE

6.1. If you cannot attend the event for any reason, you may arrange for someone else to attend in your place by contacting info@buildstuff.events. If you are unable to transfer your ticket and cannot attend yourself, the following refund terms apply:

  • 6.1.1 Written notice given at least 60 days before the event: a full refund minus a €50 administrative fee (per ticket).
  • 6.1.2 Written notice given at least 30 days before the event: a 50% refund (per ticket).
  • 6.1.3 Written notice given fewer than 30 days before the event: no refund.

6.2. Refunds will be issued using the following methods:

  • 6.2.1 For payments made by credit or debit card, the refund will be processed back to the same card within 30 days.
  • 6.2.2 For all other payment methods, a bank transfer will be sent to the account specified by the payee within 60 days.
  • 6.2.3 If payments were made from outside Lithuania by bank transfer, the refund will be issued via bank transfer and any associated fees will be the responsibility of the attendee.

7. BUILD STUFF GIFT VOUCHERS

7.1. A Build Stuff Gift Voucher may be applied toward the cost of any upcoming Build Stuff conference, course, or other event announced on www.buildstuff.events.

7.2. If the value of the voucher does not cover the full ticket price, you may pay the difference using another accepted payment method. Vouchers can be used across multiple purchases, but only one voucher may be applied per booking.

7.3. The reservation must be made before the voucher expires; however, the actual conference or course may occur on a later date. Vouchers are not personalized and are transferable.
