1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. NY Projektai (hereinafter, the “Company”), incorporated under the laws of Lithuania with company registration number 306081834, whose registered address is A. Domaseviciaus 5a, Vlinius Lithuania 01400, respects your right to privacy. The Company is committed to safeguarding the personal data of all customers, including visitors to its websites:

2.1. We organize Build Stuff conferences and courses, including both private and corporate events.


3. AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND US

3.1. These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.buildstuff.events, as well as any conference-related online applications.

3.2. You should read these Terms carefully. By visiting, accessing, using, or contributing to the Website, you agree that you have read and accept these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them.

5. TICKET USAGE

5.1. Personal or Organizational Use Only
Any ticket you purchase is intended for your personal use or for use within your organization only. Reselling tickets is strictly prohibited, including (but not limited to) using them as part of any promotion or competition. If we detect that a ticket has been resold or there has been an attempt to resell (or any other violation of this clause), we reserve the right to immediately invalidate the ticket(s) in question.

5.2. Cancellation for Suspected Brokers
We also reserve the right to cancel any ticket purchase if we reasonably believe the buyer is associated with a ticket broker.

5.3. Assignment of Tickets
Each ticket must be assigned to a specific attendee, and that attendee’s details must be 100% complete at least seven (7) days before the event. Tickets cannot be reassigned after this deadline. For any ticket reassignment requests prior to the 7-day deadline, please contact info@buildstuff.events.


6. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DOES THE COMPANY COLLECT?

6.1. Data You Provide Directly
The Company may collect and process the following personal data when you sign up and/or register for an event on the Websites:

  • Name
  • Surname
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Company name
  • Any additional data you voluntarily provide when signing up or managing services

6.2. Data Retention
Your personal data is retained for the duration of the service provision and for 10 (ten) years thereafter.

6.3. Data Collected Indirectly
The Company also collects certain personal data automatically when you interact with the Websites, including:

  • Login IP address and access time*
  • User’s browser and version
  • Data on how you use the services (e.g., data gathered through cookies or similar technologies related to browsing)

7. FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

7.1. The Company processes the above-mentioned personal data for the following purposes:

  • Event Registration: To register you for an event.
  • Direct Marketing: Only with your prior consent.
  • Customization: To personalize and enhance your experience at Build Stuff conferences and events.

    To request the deletion of your personal data if:
    • The data is no longer required for the purpose it was collected.
    • You withdraw consent and no other legal basis for processing applies.
    • The personal data was processed unlawfully.
    • Other grounds stipulated in the GDPR apply.

    To request that the Company limit the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances.*

10.1. With your explicit prior consent—and in accordance with LPPD, LEC, and the GDPR—the Company may send you newsletters by email and/or request feedback about the services provided.

10.2. For direct marketing purposes, the Company processes:

  • Full name
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number

10.3. This data is retained for direct marketing activities until you opt out of receiving such communications.


11. TO WHOM DO WE PROVIDE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

11.1. Access to your personal data within the Company is limited strictly to those employees who require it to fulfill their work duties. Each such employee is bound by a confidentiality obligation.
